Mission Statement
COMPASS Youth Collaborative interrupts violence in the city of Hartford by building transformative relationships with youth at the center of violence. COMPASS Peacebuilders provide youth the tools to create sustained behavior change and transition successfully into adulthood.
About This Cause
We build meaningful relationships with youth in order to navigate opportunities and build peace in youth lives. Credible messengers build transformative relationships with youth in order to change behavior long term. COMPASS Youth collaborative responds to the hospital when a young person has been violently injured to provide supports bedside and assist with transition home and into the community. Services provided includes case management, wrap around services, mental helath, connection to education, development of professional skills through our in house training for employment program, and crisis response at the hospitals.
