Mission Statement
The mission of the GCPA is to improve the quality of democratic governance in the state of Georgia, and other parts of the South, through a more informed and actively engaged electorate who seeks to hold elected officials accountable.
About This Cause
The Georgia Coalition for the Peoples’ Agenda (GCPA) is a twenty-five-year-old advocacy organization, founded by the late civil rights leader, the Rev, Dr. Joseph E. Lowery. The GCPA is comprised of diverse representatives from civil and human rights, environmental justice, faith-based, labor, women, youth and peace and justice communities throughout the state of Georgia. The GCPA has offices in Albany, Atlanta, Athens, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, and Savanah. GCPA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, non-partisan corporation.
