Mission Statement

The mission of Kulture Klub Collaborative is to provide a safe, consistent space for youth experiencing homelessness to freely enjoy access to the arts. At KKC, we believe that everyone is an artist. We expose, educate, and empower youth through quality multidisciplinary art experiences. We use art and creativity as a positive force in their lives for personal growth, social justice, actionable compassion, and community improvement.

About This Cause

Kulture Klub Collaborative (KKC) is a nonprofit arts organization that provides year-round programming that engages young people ages 16-23 who are experiencing homelessness. By partnering with working artists, social service agencies, and other organizations in the rich Twin Cities arts community, KKC builds a bridge from survival to inspiration for youth who are on their own, forging a path to independence and stability. Our activities include visits to local performances and exhibitions, onsite art-making in our Art Lab or recording studio, and long-term projects with artists in residence. No other arts organization in Minnesota, and perhaps the nation, takes this innovative approach to supporting youth experiencing homelessness.
