Mission Statement
Friends of Indy Animals provides essential support to improve the quality of life for homeless and vulnerable animals in Indianapolis.
About This Cause
Our mission is to improve animal welfare by supplementing the work of Indianapolis Animal Care Services. We strive to decrease pet overpopulation, promote quality adoption of sheltered animals, and educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We provide support for adoption and outreach programs that benefit more than 7,000 animals received each year by Indianapolis Animal Care Services. We work with volunteers, animal welfare groups, and communities throughout central Indiana, with the goals of saving animal lives and building a better community for people and animals.
