About This Cause
The Planned Giving Roundtable of Northern Nevada (PGRT) is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to advancing and promoting charitable gift and estate planning in the Northern Nevada community. Each year, we offer a variety of educational content and programming that are designed to enhance our professional development and foster a collaboration among the disciplines that involve planned giving. PGRT is a member in good standing of the National Association of Gift Planners (CGP), an Indiana nonprofit corporation recognized as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. PGRT is listed as a subordinate organization of CGP in CGP’s most recent annual group exemption information filing with the Internal Revenue Service. The National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP) was established in 1987 as a federation of planned giving councils, from coast to coast. The mission of CGP is to increase the quality and quantity of charitable planned gifts by serving as the voice and professional resource for the gift planning community. CGP is the professional association for people whose work includes developing, marketing, and administering charitable planned gifts. Those people include fundraisers for nonprofit institutions and consultants, along with donor advisors working in a variety of for-profit settings.
