Mission Statement
California Wolf Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization creating a sustainable future in which wolves and people share a healthy ecosystem. Through captive breeding, wild release, and public education, we work to ensure that wolves, livestock, and people can peacefully thrive in today's world.
About This Cause
The California Wolf Center is dedicated to wolf recovery in the wildlands they once roamed. We envision a landscape where wolves thrive in healthy ecosystems and wolves and people successfully coexist. To achieve this, we provide the public with educational programming such as guided tours, where visitors can see wolves in action and learn about their importance to their ecosystem. We also provide in-school outreach where K-12 students are provided hands-on learning opportunities from our wolf education team.
