Mission Statement
UPLIFT is dedicated to improving community equity with free services to San Diego's most vulnerable, helping house our homeless neighbors and academically advance low income students, lifting all to their highest potential.
About This Cause
UPLIFT is a Christian Ministry that has provided services to individuals experiencing homelessness and low-income students sine 1987. Today, UPLIFT serves the community through various homeless services programs such as the Triple Cross basic needs program, and our Home Team supportive case management program. UPLIFT student services include the Kids At Heart afterschool tutoring program, the Swimming Upstream mentoring program, and the Level Up summer enrichment program. UPLIFT operates various volunteer-based programs, such as the Swimming Upstream program, Kids At Heart program, and the Home Team program. UPLIFT acts as a bridge for community members from all walks of life to participate in addressing social issues and creating strong bonds within the community.
