The mission of Hands Together is to provide the highest quality early childhood education and care to low-income families who are striving to gain stability, improve their lives, and emerge from poverty.
About This Cause
Hands Together preschool is a licensed, award-winning preschool and childcare program, serving over 80 children ages 6 weeks to 4 years, Monday-Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advanced early childhood education and child development program offering comprehensive preschool services. The preschool curriculum emphasis at Hands Together is English literacy and reading and math readiness skills. Our preschool is designed to meet the academic and social needs of the predominantly Latino community in Santa Ana, and our goal is to prepare every student for successful entry into kindergarten. Our enriched program brings hope and opportunity to Orange County’s English learners and their families. Records show that upon graduation our students’ performances exceed their school’s expectations. Studies show a quality early childhood education has a positive correlation to later academic performance. Our services encompass: • Quality Preschool/Day Care • English Literacy & Reading Readiness Curriculum • Health and Developmental Screenings Advanced early childhood education promotes academic achievement, higher high school graduation rates, and has been proven to ensure children reach their potential. It is through Hands Together's comprehensive approach to providing services that we hope to better the lives of the children and families within our programs. Not only do we provide young children with a strong foundation for learning and educational success, but we have a strong support system and educational component for parents as well.
