Mission Statement

The mission is to educate families and individuals on how to incorporate basic core values into their daily lives. In addition, we teach children and teenagers how to use human judgments, which can help them make better choices when dealing with difficult decisions. Also, we provide controlled situational obstacles and challenges that teach them how to have positive life experiences. Finally, we show seniors how to use their wisdom to have a more fruitful and purposeful life.

About This Cause

Women Helping Other Women®, Inc. (also referred to as WHOW™ and “The Organization”) is a Charleston, South Carolina-based, worldwide online Community Center www.womenhelpers.com and a grassroots Pop-up Community Center that focuses on helping women, families, children, and teenagers by offering a variety of train the trainer workshops, educational programs, yearly outreach events, monthly retreats, and other opportunities. Some programs are conducted online, as well as in-person facilitators regionally for small or large groups at churches, private homes, offices, hotel conference rooms, etc. The services range from short 2–4-hour classes to 2–3-day workshops. The Organization’s Future Youth Art Entrepreneur Academy, for at-risk students, will be a nine-month program, the Children’s Social Etiquette Class is a six-hour workshop and the Beauty of Esther Online Spa Program is a six-week online program. WHOW™ Inc. has two yearly outreach projects the Caregiver & Survivor Celebration Project and the Hospitality Basket Project. The Organization’s services can help a wide range of people, including youth, young adults, families, single women, grandparents, and incarcerated men who are parents. Charleston, South Carolina, the Organization’s home-based location, the population 2019, area consists of 5.149 million residents and there are nearly 163,000 families, with an average family size of approximately three members. WHOW™ Inc. focuses on the moral principles of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the whole person. Its programs include, but are not limited to the Portable Family Museum Workshop, Breathing Room Project, Family Management Workshop, and Father and Daughter Program, The Organization’s regional focus is on the Southeast portion of the United States up through Ohio, but eventually it envisions having a presence in all 50 U.S., states.
