Redmond Wrestling Academy empowers athletes of all ages through wrestling, fostering resilience, discipline, and sportsmanship in an inclusive environment. Our mission is to develop skilled wrestlers and confident individuals who exemplify leadership, integrity, and excellence on and off the mat. Redmond Wrestling Academy is designated as a public benefit corporation and operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
About This Cause
Redmond Wrestling Academy is a nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Academy’s purpose is to: 1) Promote and develop the sport of wrestling in the community. 2) Providing high-quality training by offering foundational and advanced wrestling instruction led by experienced coaches. 3) Support and participate in local, national, and international wrestling competitions. 4) Expand access to wrestling by ensuring that financial limitations are never a barrier by providing scholarships and financial assistance to underserved athletes. 5) Foster inclusivity by creating opportunities for girls and underrepresented groups in wrestling. 6) Promote a culture of excellence by encouraging mental toughness, perseverance, and sportsmanship in every aspect of our programs. 7) Developing a culture of inclusivity and equity by providing training opportunities for athletes of all backgrounds, including underserved and underrepresented communities. 8) Foster community engagement by hosting community camps, mentorship programs, and collaborative partnerships with other non-profit organizations to strengthen and grow the sport.
