About This Cause
Since 1942, Jennings has nurtured the body, mind and spirit of adults over 55. Jennings is a vibrant, non-profit organization, rooted in its Catholic foundation and serving Northeast Ohioans of all faiths through choices for successful aging. The organization was founded by the Sisters of the Holy Spirit through a bequest from Monsignor Gilbert P. Jennings. Jennings is a Catholic organization serving people of all faiths through a continuum of care in five locations: Brecksville, Chardon, Garfield Heights, Maple Heights and Shaker Heights. The Sisters' legacy of love continues today through the steadfast dedication of the staff, as well as the generosity of volunteers and benefactors. By bringing together the sights, sounds and traditions of neighborhood, family and faith, we remain true to Monsignor Jennings’ vision of a vibrant and compassionate community with the familiar feeling of home. Jennings serves more than 1,400 individuals annually in various residences and services including: Adult Day Services, Alzheimer's/Memory Care, Apartments with Services, Assisted Living, Child Care, Community Programs, Home Care, Hospice, Independent Living, Intergenerational Programs, Lifelong Learning, Long-term Care, Respite Care, Short-term Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Spiritual Services, Villa and Cottage Homes, and Volunteer Opportunities.
