Mission Statement
Meridian HealthCare's Mission is to eliminate addiction by working with individuals and their families through recognition, prevention, consultation, healthcare, communication, support and treatment in a manner that is person-centered and respects the dignity of every person.
About This Cause
Originally started in the 1970's as a methadone treatment facility, Meridian HealthCare has steadily grown to accommodate all patients at every stage in their lives. From medically assisted treatment to obstetrics for compromised and addicted mothers to Veterans' and recovery housing, Meridian strives to serve our community across the continuum of care. In light of the opioid epidemic ravaging our country and the Rust Belt's economic challenges, our services, particularly recovery and related housing have swelled to nearly 200 beds at 8 locations. It is our mission to Save Lives and Serve Communities through holistic, inclusive program breaching the barriers to healthcare and recovery services for those facing challenges in their journey toward complete wellness.
