Mission Statement
Battered Women's Shelter is a non-profit agency serving victim's of domestic violence throughout Summit and Medina Counties of Ohio.
About This Cause
Battered Women's Shelter operates 2 shelters. The Medina County shelter can serve up to 30 clients, women & children. The Summit County shelter can operate 100 maximum beds that can house seniors, men, and pets in addition to women and children. BWS also provides 24-hour hotline service, support groups, case management, court advocacy, rapid rehousing, information and referrals.
