Mission Statement
Our mission is to partner with the greater community to feed the hungry, strengthen and enrich families, provide physical fitness courses to seniors, and bring high-quality housing to community members in financial need.
About This Cause
MSNC is a community based organization dedicated to fostering positive change and improving the quality of life for residents in the Monroe Street neighborhood and its surrounding areas. The programs and services include the Bridge Program, a Senior Wellness program, the Bluff Street Village and Freedom School. The Bridge Program has a weekly food pantry, clothing and small household items available for the community. The senior wellness program has weekly exercises classes and other health related workshops. Bluff Street Village goal is to have 20 tiny homes available for low income individuals with a plan towards home ownership. Freedom School is a summer program for children K-8 designed to build a love for reading.
