About This Cause
Hendricks County Humane Society (HCHS) is a not-for-profit 501(c)-3 organization, founded in 1970. Our programs solely depend on the generosity of our donors; membership drives; fundraising events; bequests and memorial contributions. We do not receive tax money or government assistance. The Humane Society is dedicated to “Facilitating Animal Welfare by Finding Homes and Saving Lives”; our primary purpose is to serve the animals and people living in Hendricks County.
