Mission Statement
The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) equips Christians to provide biblical solutions to the problems people face. We accomplish this through certification that uphold faithful practice with doctrinal integrity and biblical sufficiency, resources that build up the church, and networks that promote biblical counseling excellence.
About This Cause
ACBC seeks to strengthen the Church to speak the truth in love by providing a quality training and certification process, a global network of like-minded individuals and institutions, and a source of practical and biblical resources for the Church. We seek to bring biblical solutions for the problems people face, upholding that the method God has given to do this is truth in love. As a certifying organization, ACBC is committed to providing a distinguished level of quality control in the biblical counseling movement. That means that one of the most significant tasks of ACBC is to set, sanction, and maintain the standards of counseling excellence. Our Standards of Doctrine and Standards of Conduct are the standards for counseling excellence that every member of ACBC must embrace as a condition of their ongoing involvement in our organization.
