Mission Statement
Tri-State Food Bank is located in Evansville, Indiana and supplies emergency foods to charitable organizations in our three state service area of southwest Indiana, northwest Kentucky and southern Illinois. We sponsor special programs for children and the elderly and we serve our network of charitable agencies. We safely collect, store and distribute essential foods and other provisions to individuals and children in need of assistance.
About This Cause
Tri-State Food Bank is a non-profit organization which distributes food to its network of 147 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters throughout 33 counties in southwest Indiana, southeast Illinois, and western Kentucky. Programs include the Weekend BackPack Food for Kids program, meal boxes for senior citizens, Kids Cafe, mobile pantries, and summer feeding sites for children. Over the course of a year, Tri-State Food Bank distributes over 7 million meals to the needy. At Tri-State Food Bank, $1 donated equals 7 meals.
