Mission Statement
Exodus Refugee Immigration is dedicated to the protection of human rights by serving the resettlement needs of refugees and other displaced people fleeing persecution, injustice, and war by welcoming them to Indiana.
About This Cause
Exodus has a long history of welcoming refugees and asylees from many countries, cultures, languages, faiths, and political opinions. We began in 1981 with the mission to serve the legal needs of immigrants and Cuban refugees, who had arrived as part of the Mariel boatlift in 1981. Since that time, Exodus has welcomed refugees from more than 50 countries and is currently the largest refugee resettlement agency in Indiana. We provide a wide range of programs and services that help refugees build new lives of freedom and promise in their new country. Our services range from meeting basic needs for food, housing, and clothing, to long-term support through employment services, mental wellness counseling, English class, targeted services for women and youth, and more!
