Mission Statement
Our mission is to rescue abandoned, abused and homeless cats and kittens and to find exceptional forever homes for them. We support and practice trap neuter return programs to reduce the number of unwanted cats and kittens from being euthanized.
About This Cause
Established in 1999, APA is an ALL VOLUNTEER, no-kill cat rescue. APA HAS NO PAID STAFF. We are staffed by highly committ d unpaid volunteers. As a no kill shelter, absolutely no healthy cat or kitten is ever euthanized due to overcrowding We go to extreme measures to attempt to save every cat or kitten. We also allow FIV+ cats to roam free with non FIV+ cats. We try to educate the public on what FIV+ really means. We also stress the need to spay or neuter every animal and support the TNR program. We do not receive any government funding. All proceeds come from donations, fundraisers and proceeds from our thrift store, Purrfect Treasures
