Mission Statement
Heart to Heart is a faith based organization which is funded by the community and its own fundraising. We don not receive any State or Federal money! We are totally supported by the community. We seek to enrich client's lives and their families by teaching, mentoring, and assisting them in all areas of their lives.
About This Cause
Heart to Heart Inc., A Women's Resource Center provides incentives to women who have very little financial ability to provide for themselves. We provide education on pre-natal care, delivery, newborn childcare and parenting skills for all ages as well as material assistance to reach their goals such as: clothing for the mother and child, food, cribs, mattresses, sheets, blankets, carseats, diapers, formula, and child care assistance as well as counseling for relationships, parenting, anger management and budgeting. Our project is unique because it ties education directly to any material assistance that they receive. Clients earn material assistance by attending classes which educate and inform them and improve their life skills. They have to "earn" their way with self- help rather than simply "receiving" items because they have needs.
