Mission Statement
We are a ministry designed to meet and reach the needs of the community. Through programs inspired by the Holy Spirit we bring people into the knowledge of knowing and living for Christ. We strongly urge the people of God to speak up with love and authority; declaring boldly the resurrection of Jesus Christ. To stop tickling ears and begin to lead the church into repentance so that we may be found spotless, blameless, and without wrinkle upon the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
About This Cause
Mount Moriah Little League Basketball: ages 5 and up; league offering fundamental instruction in dribbling, shooting, passing and out of bounds. Participant practice once a week with a game the following Saturday. Participants receive T-shirts and certificate. A tournament is played at the end of the season and trophies are awarded. Mt. Moriah Summer Day Camp: Day Camp is a great way for children to spend the summer! Our energetic counselors are actively involved in creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment for your child. Summer Camp starts the first week after school ends. Children participate in arts and crafts, field trips, sports, games, and much more. Every part of Camp is designed to strengthen you child’s confidence, character and well- being. Mt. Moriah Teen Night at the Mount: Teen Night is organized as a positive and fun alternative for the youth in the community ages 8-19 every Friday night beginning at 6:00p.m to 9:00p.m. Teen Night at the Mount offers activities to include but not limited to basketball, video games, Music, Pool table, arts and crafts, Nail room, and more. Every child must sign in with name, age, address, and emergency contact information. Once that child is signed in he/she are there until 10:00 or until a parent signs them out. It is the desire of Mt. Moriah to create that safe environment for the youth in addition to giving the parent peace of mind while there children are under our supervision. The goal is to reach the youth through positive activities that they are interested in and are willing to participate in order to draw them out of environments that are not conductive the their well being and the growth of the community. The program aids in reducing the number of high risk youth in the Martindale Brightwood Area.
