The Singletons are devoted to meeting the needs of today by providing strength, hope, and community to single-parent families battling cancer.
About This Cause
Program Support Services Life doesn’t stop with a cancer diagnosis. For a single parents with cancer, they find themselves in an unimaginable position. The Singletons provide a wide range of household support that meets the needs of today, while providing hope for tomorrow. Singletons Kitchen: Provides nutritious family meal kits that simplify meal preparation and promote time spent as a family. Bare Necessities: Supplies the family home with essential household items (such as laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) Singletons Pockets: Applies a stipend directly toward a household utility. Singletons Seeds of Strength: Uplifting comradery designed for Singletons parents to find friendship and enjoyment in a simple night out. No one knows what it is like being a single parent with cancer like another single parent with cancer. Singletons Kids: Experiences filled with FUN activities and special occasion gifts provided to our Singletons kids in an effort to provide them with positive childhood memories. Singletons Santas: The Singletons Santa’s program is our longest-running annual tradition. The Singletons Families are asked to complete a wishlist. We always tell them that they may not get everything, but you never know! After the “Wish List” has been completed, The Singletons Staff pairs each family with a sponsor and the magic begins! Our resources are based solely upon community support. Donor support allows us to reach more parents. The single most impactful way you can make a difference in the lives of these families is through monetary support. This enables us, through our essential programs, to reach more single Arizona parents struggling to simply make it through the day-to-day challenges while battling cancer.
