DOUGH FOR JOE

About This Cause

The first Dough 4 Joe Run was for Joe Sampson and his family members, hence the name “Dough 4 Joe”. Joe had suffered from several cancerous spinal and brain tumors which required countless trips to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester for treatments, often times requiring the Johnson's to miss work as well as adding many additional expenses to their lives. Each year on the 4th Friday and Saturday in July, we gather together for our event. Sadly, Joe lost his battle with cancer in May of 2008 at the young age of 27. We have kept the name “Dough 4 Joe” as there is always another "Joe" out there who could use our help. So please come and help us raise money for families in need! Dough 4 Joe, where friends of friends become family!
