About This Cause

The Humane Society of St Joseph County is a non for profit community shelter in Northern Indiana. Was chartered 1986 as a shelter for women, children & abused animals. Is one of the oldest service organizations in Michiana. Provides the most comprehensive list of programs & services for the community & animals. Has the largest No-Kill adoption center in the area. Is the designated Animal Control Agency for all of St Joseph County except for the City of South Bend which has its own agency.
