Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
About This Cause
Our 20 Boys & Girls Clubs serve diverse groups of young people in many of Chicago’s most challenged communities, and as the largest organization exclusively serving the needs of Chicago’s youth, we are committed to preparing our Club members for great futures. We do so by providing nationally tested and outcomes-based programs that cultivate young people’s minds, bodies, character, and self-esteem. Our century-plus history, during which BGCC has built significant expertise leading our community in adapting to meet young people’s needs of the day, further allows us a unique opportunity to raise awareness of both the risks and the possibilities for our city’s most vulnerable children and teens.
