About This Cause
Compassion International is a non-profit, holistic child development agency operating in 25 program countries around the world. Compassion focuses on individual human development so that each child’s needs are met with the goal of releasing them from physical, spiritual, social and economic poverty. Compassion works through the indigenous church to effectively administer culturally relevant child development programs. Compassion commits to working with the poor respectfully; we acknowledge their resources and their giftedness. Compassion brings hope to the children of poverty-one child at a time.
