About This Cause
NAMI DuPage, the DuPage County IL affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, for over 27 years has had an immense positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental illnesses and brain disorders and their families. The largest NAMI affiliate in Illinois, and among the most creative and active of the 1,200 chapters across the United States, NAMI DuPage accomplishes its work without federal or state funding, and without direct financial support from NAMI’s national and state organizations. Moreover, all of our support and education programs for individuals and their families are free, so cost will not be an obstacle to support, education and recovery. We are able to achieve all that we do because of the remarkable, continuing generosity of our DuPage County community - individuals and households, foundations, businesses and corporations, professional groups, faith-based groups, and service clubs.
