Mission Statement
P.O. Box 214 • Ringwood, IL 60072 (815) 728-1400 MISSION STATEMENT Boxer Rebound, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of the Boxer Dog. Founded in 1984, Boxer Rebound, Inc. is composed of 3 officers, president, treasurer and secretary, along with many volunteers, all constituting the single largest Boxer rescue group in the United States. Resources include our Boxer Banter Newsletter, boxer calendar sales, sales of donated items, pet shows, community services which include public education of pet training. Contributions are our main source of support. Boxer Rebound, Inc. has established and is maintaining a network of cooperation between itself, animal control groups and shelters in three states, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. This network of cooperation has effectively saved many boxers. We support and initiate the spaying and neutering of every Boxer adopted, along with a micro-chip for identification. Our program extensively interviews all prospective adopters for requirements that meet the needs of a boxer. To assist in the success of the adoption, obedience classes are offered at no charge to every person that has adopted from Boxer Rebound, Inc. Should any situation arise whereby the family decides not to keep the Boxer, they are required by contract to return the dog to Boxer Rebound, Inc. Our program conducts weekly obedience classes for the rescued Boxers with many dedicated volunteers teaching them good manners and to heel on a leash. Our Mission in brief: • Rescue homeless, abandoned and abused Boxers. • Give them friendship, nourishment and any medical need, to include spay/neuter. • Find a suitable home. • Advisory support for the life of the Boxer.
