The Lake County Haven empowers homeless women and their children to achieve permanent independent living.
About This Cause
Lake County Haven provides shelter and services to homeless women and their children. Residents of the Haven have experienced the chaos, violence, hardship, and isolation of homelessness. Once they arrive at the Haven, a new reality emerges for them - one of safety, security and support. Lake County Haven provides essential services, such as shelter, counseling, advocacy, case management, transitional housing, employment coaching, financial coaching, debt management, life-skills training and more. Lake County Haven has helped over 1,100 women and children in their quest for independence.
