Mission Statement

The Chicago Hispanic Health Coalition is dedicated to improving the well-being of the Hispanic Community in Chicago. Our mission is centered on advancing healthy behavior, preventing chronic disease, and reducing health disparities in Hispanic communities. We believe in health equity, and our goal is to allocate the right resources and opportunities to the unique needs of our community. Our work is primarily targeted towards newly arrived Hispanic refugees, and those that are uninsured or underinsured. We provide health literacy programs focused on chronic diseases, women’s health, how to navigate the healthcare system, free vaccine services, and opportunities to participate in health research programs, as well as hosting a family health fair. We provide onsite health resources such as screening for HIV, cholesterol, and glucose, dental services, vision services, and vaccines.

About This Cause

Our organization has been helping the Hispanic Community in Chicago and its surroundings for over three decades. This has made our organization trusted and well-known within the community, becoming one of our greatest strengths. This recognition has allowed us to maintain and form reliable partnerships for years. We design our programs based on research data in Chicago and from the experiences of our community health workers
