Mission Statement
Acero Schools is a 20-year-old urban, tuition-free public charter school network serving a high percentage of bilingual students. Acero Schools began as a single school and has grown to a network of 15 K-12 schools, diversifying our reach and serving multiple communities. Since 1998 we have served more than 19,000 Chicago students.
About This Cause
Acero takes a team-based approach to developing high performing schools through innovation and sharing best practices. Using proven educational models that foster social emotional learning, personalized instruction and data-driven and differentiated teaching, we devise a customized approach for each of our schools to best meet the needs of individual students and families.
