Mission Statement
Ravenswood Community Services operates a weekly food pantry and community kitchen serving the north side of Chicago.
About This Cause
Every Tuesday night, Ravenswood Community Services provides groceries and a hot meal to people in our community. 125 neighbors gather for dinner and groceries go home with 250 people each week. During pantry and kitchen hours, RCS also offers basic health screenings and a listening ear in our volunteer ask-a-nurse clinic and connection to social service programs in the area as needed through our social service outreach team. Volunteer energy powers all of RCS' programs.
