Mission Statement
Repair the World mobilizes Jews and their communities to take action to pursue a just world, igniting a lifelong commitment to service. We believe service in support of social change is vital to a flourishing Jewish community and an inspired Jewish life. By 2026, Repair will inspire and catalyze 1 million acts of service towards repairing the world.
About This Cause
Jewish wisdom tells us that we each have an obligation to mend the brokenness we see around us, and that we can accomplish more by working together. Repair the World partners with Jewish young adults and their peers in service and learning to meet pressing local needs — so when you donate to Repair, you invest in a proven model for achieving transformational change while amplifying your personal impact. As the leader of the fast-growing Jewish service movement, Repair mobilizes tens of thousands of volunteers each year to serve in-person and virtually with hundreds of local nonprofit partners across the country addressing urgent social needs, such as environmental and food justice, housing security, and racial equality.
