Mission Statement
First Nations Kitchen, www.firstnationskitchen.org, is an outreach of All Saints Episcopal Indian Mission, a small intertribal church in south Minneapolis. We have been operating since 2008, serving free meals to the community every Sunday since we started.
About This Cause
First Nations Kitchen is a multicultural interfaith community space located in South Minneapolis. Every Sunday we cook and serve a free meal for the community, made from organic, local and indigenous foods. While we center Native voices and traditions, people of all cultures and faiths are welcome to join us as participants and volunteers. Together we work towards food justice by increasing our community's access to healthy, affordable and culturally relevant food through our kitchen and community garden.
