Mission Statement
Our mission is to enable the Senior Citizens of Lawrence County, Illinois to live in their own homes with as much independence and dignity as possible.
About This Cause
We are a 501(c) 3 organization who serves the needs of the elderly, aged and Senior Citizens of Lawrence County. We serve daily meals both in our center and Home Delivered Meals to the Homebound. We provide means of transportation to the Seniors. We are an "answer" center and try to find the answers to all questions presented to us to help our seniors. We help with Medicare A, B, C and D. We provide assistance with Senior Health Insurance Program through our SHIP counselors. We provide Telephone Reassurance to those who need it. We also provide Nutrition Education and Health Screenings to our seniors. Information and Assistance is a huge part of our daily activities. We try to provide and full fill as many needs as a senior might have. During the Covid-19 pandemic we were often the front line for the seniors in getting help of various kinds.
