TEAM Horace is the Parent-Teacher Organization supporting the students and families of Horace Mann Elementary School in Downtown San Jose, California.
About This Cause
The TEAM Horace Parent-Teacher Organization strives to bring additional funding, volunteers and programs to the students of Horace Mann Elementary School in Downtown San Jose, California. As an International Baccalaureate World School,, our teachers focus on guiding our students to become active learners and world citizens. Horace Mann has a diverse student population reflecting the larger community of central San Jose. Additionally, over 75% of our students come from households that qualify them to receive free or reduced-price lunch. Currently TEAM Horace fundraising efforts provide some modest support for field trip planning, art and music programming, a Science Day, Multi-cultural Day, and funds for individual teachers to pursue additional classroom projects. The parents and teachers of TEAM Horace are always looking for ways to provide more.
