Vitiligo Support International, Inc is a global community organization, committed to supporting those affected by vitiligo by raising awareness, promoting research, and discussing effective treatments until a cure is found.
About This Cause
Vitiligo Support International, Inc. provides information and support to the vitiligo community through its website, community forums, quarterly e-newsletter, social media, and personal contact. VSI's newsletter is an informative email sent out to over 50,000 members each quarter. It contains an article of interest to those with vitiligo, clinical trials that are recruiting participants, medical news updates, a question/answer section, and more. VSI is also the only national vitiligo organization working with the National Institutes of Health, American Dermatology Association, Society of Investigative Dermatology, Coalition of Skin Diseases, and others to represent the needs of those with vitiligo and other skin diseases to policy makers to make clear the need for skin disease research funding, insurance coverage and treatment access. VSI also works with a global coalition of clinicians and researchers to provide the patients' perspective for better care and research designs.
