Mission Statement
LET’S EAT, INC. OUR MISSION STATEMENT Our mission at Let’s Eat Inc. is to create both access to healthy food options for the underserved and to reduce food waste in the Greater Baltimore Metro area. Through local partnerships, we deliver donated goods to facilities supporting the elderly, the homeless, families, those transitioning out of rehabilitation centers, local food pantries and more. Together with our partners and volunteers we are making a difference.
About This Cause
Let's Eat, Inc. is a nonprofit charity recognized by both the Federal government and the state of Maryland since 2020. We partner with various stores in the Baltimore metropolitan area to rescue the food that would be otherwise discarded. Since 2020, Let's Eat Inc. and its volunteers have rescued hundreds of thousands of pounds. We differ from most food pantries in that we actually deliver this food to those who are shut in and unable to get fruits, vegetables and other foodstuffs especially to those in designated food deserts. Our hope is this nutritious food would help improve the health and well being of the recipients. We do not discriminate based upon race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or age.
