About This Cause
Cristo Rey Community Center and St. Vincent Catholic Charities have merged to become Catholic Charities of Ingham, Eaton & Clinton Counties (CCIEC), bringing together ongoing programming and paving the way for new and expanded services. CCIEC is a 501(C)(3) serving the vulnerable populations within our community. Our Cristo Rey Campus has been a staple of the Lansing area since 1968, helping community members achieve self-sufficiency through our basic needs, healthcare and counseling programs. We offer a variety of services that work together to treat not just one aspect of an individual’s life, but all facets that contribute to the cycle of poverty. This structure allows increased access to basic needs we believe no human being should live without. For 75 years, our St. Vincent Campus has been a pillar in providing human services in Michigan. What once started as a temporary home for children has grown into much more. We continue to meet the ever-changing needs of the community through our programs and services, which include Adoption, Foster Care, Refugee Resettlement, Immigration Law Clinic and health and dental services. Inspired by the teachings of Christ and the principles of the Roman Catholic Church, we embody a compassionate and just community where every individual and family can live in dignity. We commit to ensuring that all have access to essential care, support, and resources that empower self-sufficiency, resilience, and well-being.
