About This Cause
Catholic Charities mission statement is, “We are God’s hands providing housing, health, and hope to His children.” We envision respect for human dignity and ever-increasing stability and independence for individuals, families, and communities we serve. Catholic Charities Diocese of Kalamazoo provides comprehensive, compassionate social services (sheltering homeless youth, supporting pregnant and parenting women and families, feeding those in need, mental health counseling, immigration assistance, migrant ministries and utility assistance), to meet client and community needs that encompasses nine counties in southwest Michigan. Catholic Charities Diocese of Kalamazoo serves people of all faiths within nine counties of Southwestern Michigan. These counties include Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, and Van Buren.
