About This Cause

ALS of Michigan was founded in 1978 by a group of volunteers to provide critical information to Michigan's ALS community. ALS of Michigan has grown from this small group of volunteers to an organization that provides a full complement of critically needed services for Michigan's ALS community including respite care, augmentative and alternative communication, durable medical equipment loan closet, support groups, social work services, workshops and seminars, and more. All of our services are provided free of charge to our ALS community - ALWAYS! Our accomplishments are made possible by the generosity of others. From the smallest donation to the largest gift you make a difference to our Michigan ALS community.
