Mission Statement
The mission of the St. Joe County CA/N Council is to educate and motivate the people of our county to understand and prevent child abuse and neglect.
About This Cause
The CA/N Council helps provide and facilitate parenting classes, distributes information on Shaken Baby Syndrome through both hospitals and doctor's offices, provides PackNPlay portable cribs to those parents without a safe sleeping environment for their newborn, along with guidance on safe sleep and safe sleeping apparel for their infant, helps provide "Welcome Baby" bags to mothers of newborns containing information on Period of Purple Crying and Shaken Baby, a sleep sack and other Safe Sleep clothing, books for infants and young children. Printed materials provided in both English and Spanish.
