Mission Statement
Holland Hospital's mission is to continually improve the health of the communities we serve in the spirit of hope, compassion, respect and dignity. Holland Hospital funds external health programs that aim to serve our at-risk and most vulnerable community members through our Community Outreach Programs.
About This Cause
•Our School Nursing Program provides daily medication administration, emergency health plans and other vital health services to over 13,000 students in 29 schools in 6 school districts. 88% of the students seen returned back to class rather than being sent home unnecessarily. •Our Holland Community Health Center provides primary care services for over 5,600 uninsured and under-insured individuals and families. 68% of their patients live at or below the Federal Poverty Line. •Our Breast Care Fund has provided over 590 screening mammograms, 270 diagnostic mammograms and over 445 follow-up services to uninsured and under-insured women since its inception in 2015. Our School Mental Health Program's mission is to improve the mental health and wellness of students by coordinating and managing care between the school, family, caregivers, physicians and/or hospital for our most at-risk students. 117 students were evaluated across all grade levels with 1,100 mental health visits in 2022-23 school year.
