Mission Statement
Bound Together is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization in the heart of downtown Pontiac serving at-risk elementary/MS school students with 1:1 tutoring and nutrition support.
About This Cause
Three days per week, our students spend an hour with their tutor developing core skills and supporting homework. After being entirely virtual in 20-21, program is back on site at All Saints Episcopal Church, 171 W. Pike Street in Pontiac, MI. Each year, Bound Together serves approximately 3,500 meals and provides approximately 3,500 hours of tutoring. We enjoy the support of over 80 volunteers who offer their dedicated help on a day of their choosing (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.) Enrichment programs in STEM, art, and field trips are a part of our regular programming.
