Giving kids hope! We equip Christian churches nationwide to match caring mentors with at-risk public elementary students by building sustainable partnerships between churches and schools.
About This Cause
KIDS HOPE USA's purpose is to teach churches to recruit, screen, train, match, and supervise their own members for mentoring relationships with at-risk public elementary school children. KHUSA educates churches about the relational needs of at-risk elementary children in the United States and challenges these churches on how their members have the capacity to meet these needs through loving, caring relationships with adults. KHUSA recruits churches to develop a KHUSA partnership with public elementary schools and then trains the church directors to implement the KHUSA mentoring program in these schools.
