Mission Statement

Program Description CAMMO’s mission is fulfilled through three primary pillars: 1. Training & Career Development CAMMO equips veterans and military-affiliated individuals with the tools and training necessary to pursue meaningful careers in the music and entertainment industries. This includes: • Studio recording and engineering • Songwriting and composition • Vocal and instrumental instruction • Performance coaching • Industry mentorship and networking Notably, CAMMO-trained artists have performed at high-profile national events, including Super Bowls, the National Memorial Day Concert, and inaugural ceremonies, showcasing both their talent and the power of the CAMMO model. 2. Music-Based Wellness & Therapy Music is a powerful tool for healing. CAMMO provides creative and therapeutic outlets for veterans and their families dealing with trauma, PTSD, and reintegration challenges. Programs such as songwriting workshops, group jam sessions, and music therapy initiatives help participants find voice, expression, and emotional release in a supportive, peer-led environment. 3. Public Awareness & Advocacy Through high-visibility performances, original music releases, and media partnerships, CAMMO raises awareness of the military experience and the unique challenges faced by those who serve. Our work fosters greater understanding and appreciation between civilian and military communities, using music as a bridge. ________________________________________ Impact • CAMMO-trained individuals have participated in over 250 live national performances and media appearances. • Our songwriting workshops and training programs have served over 1,000 veterans and military family members. • CAMMO-created content has reached audiences of over 30 million people, amplifying the voices and stories of veterans in ways that educate and inspire.
