Mission Statement
The Gateway Area Council's mission is to teach youth members to make moral and ethical decisions throughout their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. By Providing opportunities for leadership, character building, citizenship training and physical fitness.
About This Cause
The Gateway Area Council serves Scouts and Charter Partners in Buffalo, Trempealeau, Jackson, La Crosse, Vernon, Juneau, Crawford, and Monroe Counties in Western Wisconsin, and Houston County in Southeastern Minnesota. Camp Decorah is the Gateway Area Council's outdoor program and camping facility in Holmen, WI. Camp Decorah is 330 acre Red Pine plantation adjacent to the scenic Black River.
