Mission Statement
Families of Children With Cancer, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization. We support families who have a child that has been diagnosed with cancer in Northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We receive no federal or state funding. We rely solely on donations from private benefactors, corporate sponsors, community organizations, foundations, and fundraisers. No salaries are paid and all money directly benefits Northeast Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula families of children with cancer.
About This Cause
Families of Children With Cancer (FOCWC) provides financial support to families in 15 northeastern Wisconsin counties (including the Fox Valley area and surrounding communities) as well as Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. FOCWC helps with utilities, groceries, gas mileage and other family expenses to help ease the financial burden during treatment so that parents can concentrate on their sick child and their other children. Financial resources also support a variety of other things...scholarships, cancer-related camp tuition, bravery beads, memorials, Annual Christmas party and other social events to help connect families with one another that have walked similar journeys.
