About This Cause
Freedom House is dedicated to serving families experiencing homelessness. As the area's only shelter exclusively for families with children, we provide a range of services including temporary shelter, basic needs (meals, clothing, hygiene, transportation assistance), case management, educational programs, and workforce coaching. Our mission is to shelter families through faith and dignity, helping them embrace self-worth and obtain stable housing. Our holistic approach addresses complex needs, ranging from workforce and housing navigation to counseling and family resources. Through individualized support, we equip families with the skills and resources needed for self-sufficiency. Our Aftercare Program offers ongoing support and access to resources. At Freedom House, we believe in restoring dignity and worth to people as viewed by God, working hand-in-hand with our community to help families regain stability and build a brighter future.
