By lifting up Black voices and experiences with a focus on education, restoration, community empowerment and economic development, we seek to interrupt cycles of poverty, racism and discrimination.
About This Cause
There is a need and desire for community that supports the health and well-being of all its members — Nehemiah’s primary focus is on strengthening our Black community. Our staff cultivates character, leadership, and economic development for the Black community through culturally grounded programs. Our Justified Anger initiative works to eliminate racial disparities by engaging non-Black allies to build relationships, understand systems and implement innovative solutions.
